Alyson B. Stanfield
Ms. Stanfield began consulting with artists informally fifteen years ago as part of her position as a museum curator at the Oklahoma City Art Museum. When she left her position, her artist friends continued to seek her advice on how to succeed in the field of art. It was then, that Ms. Stanfield decided that she had something to offer artists who wanted help with their art careers.
Drawing from her years of experience as an art museum curator and educator, Ms. Stanfield has created a highly successful business advising artists on a number of ways to promote and build their businesses. She is the founder of the popular www. ArtBizCoach.com, as well as a regular contributor to Art Business News and writes the free, weekly Art Marketing Action newsletter.
Ms. Stanfield received an undergraduate degree in art history from the University of Oklahoma and a graduate degree in art history from the University of Texas – Austin.
