Jeff Legg was born in Joplin, Missouri in 1959. His mother and father supported his artistic desires and in 7th grade, by good fortune Jeff was introduced to a well known regional watercolorist and college art professor Darrell Dishman. This began a nearly four year mentorship under Mr. Dishman’s tutelage which proved to be an invaluable experience for Jeff as his growth as a budding artist was accelerated. Following high school he attended the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Not finding the classical instruction he desired, he applied to and was accepted as a student at Atelier Lack.

Putting his art career on hold, Jeff launched his own successful retail business in 1980. In 1990, he decided it was time to finally get back to his love of art and sold the family business to pursue painting full time.

Over the next several years Jeff began entering shows and received many awards and best of shows on both the regional and national levels. He was accepted as a member of the Oil Painters of America and quickly climbed to distinction to become an OPA Master Signature member. In 2012, he was honored to receive OPA’s highest national award, the Gold Medal in the Master Signature division.

Location: Gallery 1261

Quang Ho was born on April 30, 1963, in Hue, Vietnam. He immigrated to the United States in 1975 and is now a U.S. Citizen. His artistic interest began at the early age of three and continued through grade school, high school, and art school leading him to a very exciting and successful painting profession.

According to Ho, art is a "byproduct of one's search for truth or meaning". It is a combination of the ability to perform plus the passion, the creativity, the concept, and the love for the medium that one works in. The foundation to Quang's works is deeply rooted in sound abstract principle-he believes that there is no difference in the structure between representational and non-objective art. His greatest pursuit besides trying to achieve highly executed works is to be excited, surprised, and challenged by the paintings. "To paint the painting as if it's the last one that you get to paint" are words that he aspires to.
