OIL PAINTERS of AMERICA
Dedicated to the Preservation of Representational Art

Presents
The Fourteenth Annual National Juried
Exhibition of Traditional Oils

The OPA Fourteenth Annual National Exhibition will be hosted this year by Hilligoss Galleries in Chicago, Illinois. Located on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile, this fabulous gallery is situated in the most exciting and exclusive area of this world-class city. A reception, slide presentation by the Juror of Awards Dan Gerhartz OPAM, and Awards Ceremony will take place at 6:00 P. M. Thursday, May 5th, 2005. We anticipate another extraordinary event.

Our goal is to assemble the finest display of representational art in the history of Oil Painters of America. The focus in the jurying process will be to select paintings that show the highest quality in drawing, color, and composition, emphasizing a diversity in representational style and subject matter. We invite you to submit a truly exceptional piece. Your participation in a show of this caliber will be an exciting way to start the new year.

The awards this year will be extensive and consistent with previous years, thanks to the generosity of loyal friends of OPA. The total awards are estimated to be in excess of $25,000 including a $12,000 American National Award of Excellence.

The awarding juror for our Year 2005 National Show will be Dan Gerhartz OPAM. He is a Master Signature member of national renown. We believe it will be an exceptional show.
