Hilarie Lambert

Hilarie Lambert was trained as a graphic designer and illustrator in Rochester, NY. She did illustrations for Scholastic Magazine and worked for a major corporation until her move to Charleston, SC, 20 years ago.

Since that time, she has become a prolific plein air painter and travels with other artists to paint. Her broad brushstrokes and fascination with color in both the landscapes and figures, distinguishes her work. When not in the studio working on studies from locations, she is traveling and painting in Paris and Biarritz with her daughter and grandchildren. During the pandemic, she has been Stateside exploring the East Coast in her camper – painting along the way. Back in the studio, she works on future shows and commissions.
