Wendy Pride
Wendy Pride is an associate member of the Oil Painters of America (OPA). She has studied at the Cape Cod and the Scottsdale Arizona Schools of Art under the mentorship of artists including Tom Browning, Eric Slayton, and the late Charles Sovek and OPA Master, Joyce Pike. Wendy seeks to inspire others to approach their painting with confidence and creativity in a direct style. She teaches landscape, floral and still life painting in the greater Toronto area, Ontario, Canada. As a retired university professor (nursing), and now art teacher, she believes it is important for students to understand what work they may present as their own creation during the learning process.
