Julie Barbeau
Julie Barbeau is a contemporary realism portrait, figure and still life painter. She also enjoys painting outdoor plein air landscapes. She earned bachelor degrees in journalism and German at the University of Missouri. Later she studied drawing and painting at the Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art and Gage Academy of Art in Seattle. She also studied Painting the Figure in Oil at Adrian Gottlieb Atelier. Julie has three grown sons and currently lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband. She formerly lived in the Los Angeles area.
