OPA Annual Great Paint Out Host Application

OPA Paint Outs give our members an opportunity to network and socialize with other artists in a plein air setting. Enjoy the beautiful vistas that our members have selected for you to paint. Paint outs are an outdoor adventure that you won’t want to miss.

Members throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico are invited to apply to host a paint out event.  Applications are taken between March 1 and June annually.

  • When

  • Please select a date/time somewhere between September and November, preferably a date on the weekend since many of our members are working during the week.

  • Please select a rain date. While most of you probably head out in all sorts of weather, we do want to have a date scheduled just in case there is a torrential downpour, lightening, emergency, etc.

  • Please complete the following:
    • Specific time and location
    • Food: restaurant nearby? meal provided? planned meeting time for gathering afterwards?
    • Please note, absolutely no alcoholic beverages can be served on location.
    • Any additional suggestions: sunscreen, water etc.
  • What will they paint? Is it a farm property, the ocean, the mountains?
  • Include an image, 1MB or less, to help members know what to look forward to.
    Accepted file types: jpg, png, Max. file size: 128 MB.

  • (Attendees will be asked to email this address to RSVP. Please be sure to keep a list of those members who have contacted you about coming to the event. If for whatever reason, you need to change locations, times, etc., we want to be sure everyone is aware of those changes! Be sure to get their full name, phone etc, if possible.
