Description - While visiting The Ringling, you are welcome to explore the vast 66-acre grounds at your leisure. As awe-inspiring as any work of art, the Bayfront Gardens are a living treasure that will awaken all your senses. Relax under the shade of a banyan tree, feel the cooling breezes coming off the bay as you walk along the promenade, and smell the intoxicating perfumes of flowers in bloom and paint Mable Ringlings Rose Gardens. The Bayfront Gardens offer many different plants, trees, sculptures, and trails for you to enjoy all year long. The Ringling encompasses a wide range of architectural styles and structures. The earliest buildings on the estate are Ca' d'Zan and the Museum of Art (completed in John Ringling's lifetime) and the Historic Circus Galleries. A Paintout made for all.
Instructions - We will arrive by 10, Mondays are free to enter and paint on the grounds. Bathrooms are convenient. The Ringling Grillroom is a modern American restaurant and a favorite go-to for special occasions and casual lunch get-togethers alike.
Located on the ground floor of the McKay Visitor's Pavilion at the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, we are open to visitors of the museum as well as the general public. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Reservations recommended.
There is also a Ringling Cafe and Bayon Tree Cafe as well. No reservations required.
