Description - Simplify the confusion around how to achieve harmonious color in your painting by introducing the idea of a “mother color” or "harmonious complements" into your work. Too many paintings suffer from the malady of unharmonious color choices. Tame that dragon in this simple approach to color that tones it down and allows all colors “play well” with one another. The effect can have a greater emotional impact in your work, add drama, and “intelligence” to your paintings. Short Critique on final day. Must have control of your medium in Oil, acrylic, pastel, or watercolor. For both representational and abstract painters, novice to advanced skill levels.
