Description - Figure Painting with Daud Akhriev From August 2 to August 9, join us for an incredible six-day immersion in oil painting with the internationally collected and sought-after artist, Daud Akhriev. Born and trained in the former Soviet Union, Daud will teach using centuries-old Russian Academic methods, focusing on color theory, modeling, and the study of light and shadow. Throughout the week, two different live models will pose for three mornings each—one in the garden and the other indoors, allowing for studies in varying lighting conditions. Afternoons will be dedicated to individual landscape studies, complete with critique and assistance from Daud, making this taller de pintura an enriching experience.
