Peppered with castles, medieval villages, rivers winding through fairy-tale forests and ancient caves this is a painting workshop like no other! Not to be missed, this unique excursion is based out of a converted farmhouse in the rolling countryside, complete with large art studio conference room and a swimming pool for unwinding after a day spent painting under the hot summer sun. Let me guide you on your journey of unlocking your artistic potential through plein air painting while the wonderful and friendly staff at the Perigord Retreats guide us both on a journey through the mists of time in this historic and beatific land. The workshop will include set exercises to strengthen the necessary fundamentals of plein air painting. I will offer a brief demonstration each day and advice on a one-on-one basis in the field. Additionally, there will be class discussions and critique of work so that participants will learn from individual instruction as well as each other. All levels welcome! Space is limited.
