Zooming Zoo Animals

Description - Zooming Zoo Animals YES you heard right! By popular demand we are visiting the Zoo yet again! We picked November because the cooler months make it so much better to view animal activity. We are going to visit new subjects including the Andean Bear (a recent addition to the zoo) and the North American River Otters (just had 4 babies earlier this year)! We are currently interviewing a couple of other possibilities like a Golden Lion Tamarin (it’s a monkey with gorgeous color) or maybe prairie dogs because they’re hilarious. Stay tuned. If you’ve always wanted to try wildlife painting then join us for a unique experience. We LIVE Stream from the Beardsley Zoo in CT and learn about the animals so that we can convey their personality into our paintings. We will explore all the challenging issues like drawing (not so scary), achieving likeness and aliveness, fur, paint handling and everything else that’s holding you back. Try something different.
