Description - Garden of the Gods has incredible rock formations, gorgeous scenery, views of Pikes Peak, mule deer, and occasionally even bighorn sheep. There are lots of visitors, and it is a dog-friendly park. There are red rocks and other colors of rock. It'll be fall, so the foliage will be changing color.
Instructions - We'll meet at 8:00 am on the viewing platform at P2, the Main Parking Lot of Garden of the Gods. There are massive red rocks and trails to other nearby rock formations. There are restrooms and water available here.

The Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature is at 1805 N. 30th Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80904. There are restrooms, a cafe, a gift shop, and exhibits about the park.
To the South of GoG is Rock Ledge Ranch, with historic buildings, gardens, a farm, a pond, and views of Pikes Peak.
Garden of the Gods sits at about 6,400 feet or 1,951 meters above sea level. This is considered to be a high altitude, so please bring lots of water to stay hydrated. Sunscreen is also recommended.
