Master Signature Member Application

The OPA Board of Directors has created a Master Signature Member Advisory Committee that will review applications for Master Signature status. The applications shall be received NO LATER THAN September 1 of each year. The Board of Directors will act upon the applications at its December Board Meeting. Notification will be sent to applicants by mid-January.

To qualify to submit for Master Signature Member status, an artist must:*
- Be of exceptional merit and a member in good standing as a Signature Member of OPA.
- Agree to submit a painting to the OPA National Show and at least one regional or Salon show each year.
- Be a goodwill ambassador and promote the mission of Oil Painters of America.
- Be willing to serve as a Juror of Selection or Juror of Awards once every three years.
- Demonstrate that he/she consistently paints at an exceptionally high skill level.
- Be willing to give a free demonstration at an exhibition

- Please upload your application images and a 2 page biography to your DropBox account. Be sure to create a new folder for your images and title the folder with your First and Last Name.
- If you do not have a drop box you can set one up here.
- Share that folder with masters@oilpaintersofamerica.com.

  1. Hover your cursor over the folder you want to share.
  2. Click the blue Share button that appears.
  3. Enter this email addresses, masters@oilpaintersofamerica.com.
  4. Select Can edit from the pull-down menu.
  5. Then click Share.
No time limitation applies to when paintings were created.
