Description - Ocean Springs, Mississippi is a lovely town with a scenic downtown blanketed by large live oak trees. It sits on the Gulf of Mexico, so there are marine views as well. Surrounding areas include lowland marshes and small fishing villages. It is also the home of Walter Anderson and the wonderful museum created in his memory. Painting subjects for everyone abound!
Instructions - Check in and registration will be held at the Walter Anderson Museum from 8:30 - 10:00am. A "goodie bag" will be provided with snacks and a sandwich for lunch. We will gather for lunch and fellowship at a location TBD and door prizes will be awarded. Participants may also choose one of the many fine restaurants in the area, but the picnic will be a wonderful time of fellowship and networking. There will also be a reception at the end of the day.
