Description - Mission Concepción is the oldest unrestored stone church in America. It was founded in 1716 as one of the seven missions in the Nacogdoches area of east Texas, established to colonize the region and serve as a buffer against French invasion from Louisiana into Spanish territory.
However, any subject painted in San Antonio is accepted in the exhibition. Paint wherever you wish.
