Join ARC Living Master Artist Tina Garrett for her three-day online workshop which includes three lectures/demonstrations where Tina shows you each and every step of how she uses Photoshop to create beautiful painting reference materials. Artists will have access to this content for one month. Also included is one session with Tina Tech Support, so the next time you're lost in Photoshop, I will be there to help you. Don't waste your time lost in a sea of Photoshop tools, let me show you how to navigate to get to all the practical Photoshop uses specifically for oil painters.
Day One
We'll go through the ABC's of Photoshop from opening files to saving formats. I'll help you become familiar with the tools you need to know how to use and how to avoid time sucks and distractions. I'll show you how to get images of your paintings ready to enter competitions including how to resize them without losing resolution or having files that are too large to upload.
Day Two
The lecture will go a bit deeper as I show you how to get still images from video, how to correct poor quality reference images, how to take good quality reference images including lighting, costuming and photographing the model, and the core principles of composition that will help you create beautiful reference images.
Day Three
We'll get down to how to use photoshop to collage and compose your paintings, to compare your work to the masters works and make adjustments that can save you lots of time and expensive painting materials and provide you with beautiful references to help you truly create works of art.
