You will paint the stunning central Kentucky landscapes under the personal guidance of one of the most renowned painters of our time. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a beginner, this workshop promises to deepen your skills and broaden your artistic horizons. What to expect Calvin Liang will teach a 4-day workshop consisting of two days of outdoor painting followed by two days spent working on a single studio painting based on photos you take on location. Calvin will begin a slideshow to show how he uses the photo as a reference for the painting, then do a demonstration and spend the remaining time with each student throughout the rest of the day. It is recommended that you bring a laptop or tablet for the studio days. Alternatively, you may have color prints of your reference photos printed locally.
