Description - Working from fresh flowers, this workshop will focus on creating interesting compositions and keeping your flowers transparent and alive in your painting. Kathy will start by taking the students through the all-important design and block-in stage which sets the foundation for a strong painting. With morning demos and the students painting with one-on-one instruction in the afternoon, we will cover all the important ingredients of a beautiful painting – values, edges, clean color, and more.
