Description - Painting with Intention, with the Goal of Success!! - Stephanie has been a Putney Painter for 14 years, the group founded by Richard Schmid and Nancy Guzik. Her workshop will encompass all aspects of creating a painting. Her color is based on Richard Schmid’s color charts from his book, “Alla Prima, Everything I know about Painting”. Learn to see what it is that you want before you start to paint. Stephanie believes that every brushstroke and color should be intentional. She’ll teach you how to think before you apply a brushstroke, making your paintings happen faster and with more accuracy. Learn to mix clean color! She concentrates on how to make beautiful brush strokes that will direct your viewer’s eyes through your painting. Beautiful edges and composition will also be thoroughly explored. And don’t forget values!! Build confidence on what you actually know and let go of the negative voices in your painting head. Learn to paint with confidence and certainty. All levels are welcome to come and work hard, have fun and leave a better and happier painter! Subject matter will be organic, all living things; flowers, fruit, vegetables and leaves...whatever we can find that is beautiful!
