Presents The 2020 Eastern Regional
Juried Exhibition Of Traditional Oils
OPA’s 2020 Eastern Regional Exhibition is being hosted by Reinert Fine Art, located in historic Charleston, South Carolina, November 20 through December 19, 2020. Please join Juror of Awards Kathie Odom OPA, for a virtual awards ceremony on Friday, November 20 at 6:30 p.m. Central Time.
The over 300 year old city of Charleston is located on a peninsula between the Ashley and Cooper Rivers and its cobblestoned historic district is steeped in American culture and Southern charm. Besides the fascinating historic downtown, other sites that should not be missed are the Magnolia Plantation and Gardens, the Charleston Tea Plantation, Fort Sumter, and Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum. Other points of interest are the South Carolina Aquarium, the Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon, the Powder Magazine and a vast array of outdoor sports such as boating, fishing, and sea kayaking.
Our goal is to assemble approximately 100 of the finest display of representational oil paintings. The focus in the jurying process will be to select paintings that show the highest quality in draftsmanship, color, and composition, emphasizing a diversity in representational style and subject matter.
